When I first walked into Nova International School here in Somaliland, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
The hallways smelled of fresh paint and possibility. The teachers smiled, not because they had to, but because they were genuinely excited to see us.
In just a few weeks, I had joined the robotics club, performed in the cultural festival, and made friends from three different continents.
We study hard, but it’s the way our lessons connect to real life that makes them special.
